Bibione at Expo 2015

"Bibione 5 aquae" is the new brand with which Bibione participate exposure Aquae Venice in 2015, the international exhibition dedicated to water and its life forms, sponsored by Expo Milano 2015 and promoted by Expo Venice.
From 3 May to 31 October 2015, in an exhibition space of 50 square meters, will be told the great natural heritage of our beach, a heritage enclosed by five water able to blend into each other and give unique natural scenery: from the river Tagliamento, the unique biodiversity so as to have aroused the interest of UNESCO, which flows into the Adriatic Sea, in the salt waters and certified, to the west, are intertwined with those of brackish lagoons and the Venetian coastline, waterway that marks the border hinterland of Bibione, where the same gush natural thermal waters. Microcosms made of water and light, reed huts and picturesque, flight of herons and flamingos, rhythms placid, not far from the sparkling downtown streets and the beach, from the infinite expanse of golden sand, fine but mostly autochthonous.




The Spas of Bibione are a Heaven of greenery near the sea, sunk in the silent pinewood, where up-to-date treatments are offered.
A whole day spent at the Thermae is a valid alternative to the beach and a chance of relaxation in case of rainy days.

Bibione is the ideal destination for the gourmets fond of genuine food and delicate or full-bodied wines.

Thanks to its sandy soil, the typical product of the territory of Bibione is the white asparagus, with its characteristic light taste and many nutritive properties, and whose savour is extolled when served with scrambled or hard-boiled eggs.
Every April, a Special Fair is dedicated to the white asparagus. In the many stands set up for this occasion, you will have the chance to taste it and to buy it as well.

Getting to Bibione


By car

Coming from the west, taking the A4 Motorway, Venice – Trieste section;

  • Recommended exit:

Portogruaro toll: Bibione is around 35 km from here.
Once exited, follow the signs for Trieste.

Coming from the east, taking the A23 Motorway, Tarvisio – Udine section.

  • Recommended exit:

Latisana toll: Bibione is around 25 km from here.
Once exited, turn sharp right; pass the town of Latisana then continue, following the signs for Venice.

The A4 and A23 motorways are connected to the main European motorway hubs.

Bibione is served by internal and international connections from Venice, Treviso and Ronchi dei Legionari Airports.

From Ronchi dei Legionari Airport:

  • By Coach: SAF, the Friuli Venezia Giulia bus company, operates a connecting service between Ronchi dei Legionari Airport and Latisana. It is about 65 km from Ronchi dei Legionari Airport to Bibione.
  • By Train: There is a bus service from Ronchi dei Legionari Airport to Gorizia or Monfalcone Railway Stations. From here, the best stations for getting to Bibione are Portogruaro or Latisana


By boat

To get to Bibione by boat, follow these coordinates: Longitude 45° 38' 10" N - Latitude 12° 59' 83" E.
Once arrived, you can use the visitors’ berths in the Porto Baseleghe quay to moor your boat (there are berths available for vessels up to 18 metres).
